What is IP2
Remote Panel System ?
IP2 Remote Panel (IP2-RP) system is a wire replacement system, capable
of transmitting multiple I/O signals using fieldbus communication and
over long distances. IP2-RP is a packaged system customized for the
remote monitoring application, consisting of :-
- Two Types of Main Remote Panel
- Status Indicating Panel (complete with LED
Indicating Lamps, Selector Switches, Push Buttons, Engraved Equipment
Name Tags)
- 7"/ 10"/ 15" Color LCD Touch Panel complete
with Graphics User Interfaces
- PLC Remote I/O Panels
- Delivered with As-Built

point-to-point cabling, fieldbus
communication reduces installation and cabling costs. Compared with
point-to-point cabling, overall savings is estimated 30 - 50%

Power Line Communication
Power Line communication feature is useful when essential
equipment required to be remotely monitored in Control Room are left
out in original design. Putting new cable
infrastructure would be very expensive. For example, remote monitoring
of Sump pumps in basement, Hydrant pumps and Domestic
pumps in Roof.
In this regard, the IP2-RP1-SIP-PL would be ideal.
